A Minute With Maureen Frink

The Farmington Republican Town Committee Welcomes Maureen Frink

Many Farmington residents have found themselves at the town hall, looking for a marriage or fishing license, or to record a deed, and have received assistance from Maureen Frink, the Assistant Town Clerk and Assistant Registrar of Vital Statistics. Maureen has a welcoming smile and sunny disposition, and is ready and genuinely willing to assist customers whether the request is to register a trade name or to obtain a dog license. Having worked at the Town Clerk’s Office full time since 2015, Maureen is well versed in all areas of the town clerk’s business and she takes her position as a public servant seriously. To promote good government, the Connecticut Town Clerk’s Association (CTCA) offers classes through the Secretary of State and Central Connecticut State University to gain a special Connecticut Town Clerk certification. As a member of the association, Maureen successfully completed the classroom and testing requirements and became a Certified Connecticut Town Clerk in 2018. Maureen continues to attend classes to keep current on the duties of a certified town clerk and has access to workshops and educational materials on a wide range of topics regarding the responsibilities and processes of Connecticut town clerk’s offices.

On the personal side, Maureen is a life-long Farmington resident and graduate of Farmington High School. Prior to her position with the Town Clerk, Maureen worked for thirty years as an office manager for a physical therapy facility. She is married to Doug, a Farmington police officer, and they have three children. While raising the children, Maureen was active volunteering with the PTO. At the present time, Maureen serves as the secretary of the Farmington Village Green Library Association and leads a Sunday school class for three year olds. Maureen cherishes the town she lives and works in and is a welcome addition to the Farmington Republican Town Committee.
