A MINUTE WITH JOE CAPODIFERRO
Joe Capodiferro, a lifelong resident of Farmington, is seeking his second term on the Farmington Town Council. Joe hit the ground sprinting during his first term on the Council, serving as liaison for the Town Planning and Zoning Commission, the Water Pollution Control Authority and the Human Relations Commission. Joe is presently a voting Member of the Racial Equality Task Force.
In addition to his service on the Council, Joe has demonstrated a long and profound commitment to the residents of Farmington. Joe served as a Farmington Patrol Officer for 26 years. In 2010, the Farmington Exchange Club voted him Officer of the Year and the Farmington Police Department awarded him the Medal of Valor. Joe is particularly proud of his service as a K-9 Officer with his ever-faithful companion and partner, Drak. Joe remains deeply devoted to our community by serving as a board member of the Farmington Community Chest, a non-profit organization that provides leadership and funding for local charitable groups. During the peak of the pandemic, Joe spent countless volunteer hours grocery shopping for the elderly and medically compromised. He is presently a member of UNICO and a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church.
Joe does all of this and more while working as an extremely successful real estate agent. Joe has been married to Kim for 20 years. He is exceptionally proud of his two children, Nathan who graduated from Farmington High School in 2021, and Cooper who is currently in the 10th grade at Farmington High School.
