My name is Toni Berlandy. I was recently endorsed by the Farmington Republican Town Committee to serve as an alternate on the Zoning Board of Appeals.
Born and raised in Kensington I come from a family that was actively involved in town government.  My father served on the Board of Education, the Planning and Zoning commission and the Police Commission.  I learned in those years the importance of being part of the team that moves the community forward is the true goal.
I moved to Farmington with my husband Richard and three children because of the opportunity in this great town.  Our children, now grown and on their own in various parts of New England, attended Farmington schools and thrived both academically and socially.  Throughout these years, I served as the secretary on the PTO at East Farms, Westwoods and IAR.  At the high school, I served as secretary on three booster clubs.  In addition, my husband and I are members of St. Patrick church where I am actively involved in many and various ministries.
I have been employed at Eversource Energy, formerly known as Northeast Utilities for 30 years.  As a Community Relations specialist, I work with municipalities across the northern central part of the state.  In this capacity, I work with the government and various departments of each town, handling concerns and advocating on their behalf.
I look forward to serving the people of Farmington on the Zoning Board of Appeals.
